Sign up now for your free 1 hour webinar on bulk material segregation. In this webinar Dr. Andrés Orlando will explore common types of bulk material segregation. He will explain how physical material characteristics affect maintaining blends and what mechanisms are working against keeping a homogenous blend throughout your process. Dr. Orlando also will review how to properly design equipment in order to mitigate segregation and maintain your blend integrity.

ANDRES D. ORLANDO received his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Doctorate degree in Granular Mechanics from Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York.  During his graduate studies Dr. Orlando focused in computational modeling of granular materials flows using the discrete element method and comparing numerical models against physical experiments. As a project engineer for Jenike & Johanson, Inc. he is involved in troubleshooting and recommending corrective action for solids flow problems, providing recommendations to avoid solid flow related problems in new installations, and the design of customized handling equipment.
